The 10th Annual JRF Scholarship Award on 
August 8, 2008

This year's scholarship award was presented at the Pacific Swimming, Zone 3, C/B/A+ Long Course Meet held in the Cunningham Aquatic Center in Vallejo. The 2008 award winner is Andrew Wroblewski from Vallejo.  Andrew carried an impressive 4.43 GPA over his four years at St. Patrick-St.Vincent High School and was the 2008 class Valedictorian.  Andrew's academic accomplishments also include California Scholarship Federation member (04-07), SPSV First Scholastic Honors (04-07), SPSV National Honor Society Member (05-08), National Merit Letter of Commendation, Varsity Wrestling Academic Award, and the Abruzzini Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Excellence (07).

Andrew's swimming accomplishments include VJO Swim Team member 6 years, member of the SPSV Varsity Swim Team 4 years (captain 2008), SPSV Coach's Award for Character 2007, Bay Shore Athletic League Champion (05, 06, 07), and North Coast Competitor 2006.  Andrew also competed in SPSV Varsity Water Polo (04-07) and Varsity Wrestling (05-06).

Andrew is attending the University of Notre Dame this Fall and plans to enter the School of Engineering.
